Background - Women Action on Eco-Health and Legal Rights – WAEHEAL - is a women-led organization, registered as a non-governmental organization under the Tanzania Non-Governmental Organization Act 2002 with registration number OONGO/R/0442. We empower women and girls to realize their economic, health, and legal rights through awareness-raising, capacity-building, and evidence-based advocacy approaches. Our work drives sustainable impact across four thematic areas: Human Rights, Environmental Justice, Climate Resilience, and Economic Empowerment.
